American (English) Remake HPI (2021) Series in France
Narrative
Follows Morgan, a single mother of three, whose extraordinary mind can help solve a crime when she recovers evidence during her shift as a cleaner at the police department. Despite having a very high IQ, great memory, and extensive arcane knowledge, Morgan makes a series of fundamental mistakes in the law that anyone who has watched a TV legal show knows not to make. For example, in the first episode, she retrieves a document from a locked safe at the suspect’s office—evidence that would never be admissible in court—illegally obtained evidence.
Admissible in court
Nor could other evidence be obtained with it – "fruit of a poisonous tree" Breaking the law In Episode 2, she needs to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at a crime scene, and in Episode 3, she removes all documentary evidence from the police station, completely severing the chain of custody and continuing to destroy everything she removed. Reprinted by HPI (2021). The original French version, Haut Potential Intellectuel, was more intelligent.
It was a side job as a cleaner at the police department
The first episode was similar to this first one, except the first episode, when it was discovered that she has no patience with the people she talks to, was removed. She gets fired from that job for being disrespectful to a customer. After that missing scene, the rest of the first episode was basically the same.
This could be fun because I like Kaitlin Olsen
The biggest difference is that the main character, Morgan, is much smarter than portrayed in the American version. After watching the original, it is very difficult not to compare it. I hope future episodes show the irreverent and funny character she had in The Mick.
